Before players reach the NFL, they have to make an impact in college.
USC quarterback Caleb Williams was awarded for his play on the field Saturday when he won the Heisman Trophy. The sophomore has impressed with 4,447 yards through the air and on the ground, a school record. He led the Trojans to an 11-2 record and a berth to the Cotton Bowl.
But he made a fashion statement Saturday, too, when he wore a suit from Gucci’s collaboration with adidas. The suit featured a brown plaid print and adidas’ signature three stripes up the sides of the pant legs and inside the arms.
While this list focuses on the NFL, Williams has earned his spot among the best looks of the week.
Here’s the NFL Week 14 drip check:

5. Josh Allen — Buffalo Bills
Josh Allen usually doesn’t wear anything slightly interesting for his game day outfits. But what’s likable about his style is that it’s always comfy — and when he does choose pieces of note, they are actually quite fly.
For his Week 14 look against the New York Jets, the Buffalo Bills quarterback looked effortless in a grey Essentials crewneck sweatshirt, black joggers and Cool Grey Jordan XIs.
4. Donovan Peoples-Jones — Cleveland Browns
Donovan Peoples-Jones is on a roll with his game day looks. This is his third drip check appearance in four weeks.
For Week 14, he wore a head-to-toe look from Who Decides War. The orange patchwork jacket has interesting textures while the pants pull the orange into a colorful ombre and feature the brand’s signature stained glass panels. The wide receiver finished it off with white Rick Owens sneakers.
3. Dak Prescott — Dallas Cowboys
Dak Prescott looked quite dapper for his game against the Houston Texans. He wore a grey double breasted suit perfectly tailored by Gentleman’s Playbook. The lavender stripes and matching undershirt lightened the look pleasantly.
2. Joe Burrow — Cincinnati Bengals
As we said last week, you can’t go wrong with an all-black look. Joe Burrow continues his brand of cool with this game day outfit that features a motorcycle jacket, Nike Dunks and a Prada bucket hat.
1. Geno Smith — Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks are one of the most fashionable teams in the league and have had several players make the drip check since the beginning of the season.
While DK Metcalf almost got another nod with a fun pop of pink, his quarterback Geno Smith takes the win this week with his carefully coordinated look. He paired a pink Raf Simons oversized sweater with denim jeans from Chrome Hearts. The cross patches pulled the pink all the way through. He rounded the look off with a pair of Nike Air Yeezys. A reality that doesn’t need to be altered.
Honorable mentions
Tyrod Taylor — New York Giants
A really nice understated look that mixes shades of green.
Marcus Allen — Pittsburgh Steelers
A vintage Christina Aguilera shirt. We stan.
(5th slide)
Jawaan Taylor — Jacksonville Jaguars
A sartorial tribute to Van Gogh’s ‘Starry Night.’
Tre’von Moehrig x Josh Jacobs — Las Vegas Raiders
Tre’von Moehrig looked cozy in a dusty rose look while Josh Jacobs rocked a sweater that invoked the French rococo painting ‘The Swing.’
