There was some doubt if Josh Jacobs would even be able to play in Week 12 against the Seattle Seahawks after injuring his calf just a day before the game. He was downgraded to questionable and there was a real fear that he wouldn’t be able to play.
Not only was Jacobs active, but he also had one of the best days ever by a running back in NFL history. Jacobs totaled over 300 yards and scored two touchdowns, including the walk-off score in overtime.
Going into Week 13, there is a pretty good chance the Las Vegas Raiders won’t have Jacobs practice at all before they take on the Los Angeles Chargers. According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Jacobs is not expected to practice at all before this week’s game.
Jacobs is an established veteran at this stage of his career and doesn’t need a lot of practice in order to play. He is still expected to be on the field in Week 13, but look for him to be listed as a ‘DNP’ for most of the week.
